Endocrine disruptors present a powerful threat to the welfare of all living things. We are engaged in two strategies to minimize the damage of endocrine disruption to the future. In the first of these, a team of environmental health scientists has produced the Tiered Protocol for Endocrine Disruption, or TiPED, which collects the most powerful assays for identifying and understanding endocrine disruption behavior in chemicals. The TiPED is a powerful tool for steering the design of new chemicals away from endocrine disruption. In the second, we are showing that TAML activators can underpin high technical, cost, health, and environmentally performing processes for removing endocrine disruptors that society is using from water.55
